JERICHO
I've been snowed in (record amounts!!) and
recovering from an icky cold, so not a lot of energy
left except to collapse on the couch and immerse myself in "Jericho".
I am so immersed after watching 22 episodes
(ok, so I saw most of them, but true immersion takes dedication!)
that I feel like a member of the community.
What happens to Jericho happens to ME...!
. Fans of this show actually had the clout to get it a second season. Hooray for
you!
And let me just say, if anything happens to this country,
I want Skeet Ulrich's Jake Green and Lennie James's Rob Hawkins on our
side!
The town of Jericho has
survived nuclear attacks that have taken out major cities including DC.
Jake
Green has just arrived back in town from a mysterious 5 year absence. What
follows as the town learns to live without modern conveniences like heat,
supermarkets, gas etc. and has to deal with outside aggressors like creepy Ravenwood mercenaries, faux marines and nasty towns without Jericho's resources
is completely compelling!
Catch up with the first season online and on DVD and the second season now on the air
and join the Jericho community!
OH! I saw this message on
Amazon from the Jericho Rangers:
To help keep Jericho on the air, e-mail this link after you watch an episode
to let CBS know you are watching:
audsvcs@cbs.com
This is the only way CBS can count the viewers
who are not Nielsen Ratings households.
And here are some other great
Jericho links:

Last night was incredible! A
lot of things are coming together.
We have one more episode left! They said SEASON finale...not SERIES finale,
so let CBS know you're watching! Save Jericho! We NEEEEEED Season 3!
March 22
Oh so typical.
Once again the antiquated concept of the Nielsen family has over-ridden
the reality of a loyal fan base. We do thank CBS for doing another season, but
as has been pointed out, a 10:00 P.M. Tuesday night time-slot forced many fans
to Tivo, tape and watch online. Keeping a series as vital and engaging as
"Jericho" alive for another season at a more friendly hour will gather more fans
and keep building.
I read that Carol Barbee
an executive producer of “Jericho,”
said she is:
“pursuing other venues”
for the show,
giving credence to reports that a cable network could keep the series alive.
Here's another link to try and save Jericho:

Don't give up!
